Survey & Interview

So, we'll be showing the survey results.
1. The first question in the survey is "Do you like going to school?" Here's the  pie chart.
[rounded off]
So the conclusion is that 35% out of 40 students said that they like going to school.










2. This pie chart is about the answers from the question "Is Education Important?"


We found out that out of 40 students, 33 students said that going to school is important



















3. This bar graph is about  the answers from the question " Do You Think Going To School Is Important?"
From here, we can see that most people agreed that education can make us a better person while some aren't sure.


















4. And this one is for the question "Do You Think Education Can Make You A Better Person?"
















 
Most people agreed that education can help us achieving our dreams while 7.5% disagreed while others aren't sure.

5. This is for the question "Can Education Help Solve Local/Global Issues?"
From 40 students, 55% of them think that education can education help solve local/global issues while 42,5% of them aren't sure.
                                














6. And the last one! "What issues that you think that are the most encountered problems in education?" survey.
We found out that most students think that expensive fee is the problem, Lacking of teachers is the least, 7 people think it is lacking of learning media, and 32.5% people thought infrastructure problems is.












INTERVIEW  QUESTIONS



-Please Introduce Yourself.
      -Where did you have your education?
      -Why do you send your children to school?
      -If we are not mistaken, you send your child to this school, don’t you? What are your considerations in choosing a school for your children to study in?
      -Is education important to you? Why?
      -What positive or negative effects did your children get from school?
      -How could education help to solve local and global issues?


      We interviewed 3 teachers from our school. They are:
-     -Mdm Mary (Primary 2 teacher)
      -Mdm Reza (Playgroup teacher)
      -Mr Yan (Art teacher)
   
    
     Mdm. Mary’s Interview Results
     Her name is Mdm. Mary. She is teaching at P2 Connection. 2017 is her 4th year in Tunas Bangsa. She is 33 years old. She had her Kindergarten, primary and secondary education in Siantan in a different school for each one. She studied 4 years in Singapore and got a bachelor degree. She said she sent her child to school because education is important. She said that old ways of teaching are stressful and it is not suitable if they want to study in foreign places. She said education is important because she believed that children need to be equipped with knowledge and discipline skills from school and they need to be able to improve their future lives. According to her, the positive effects that her child gets from school are that they can socialize, discipline, to co-operate, and improve their language skills while the negative side is they would fight at school. She also said that education can help to solve local/global issues because during or after learning, they have the knowledge to discuss to solve those problems.

    Mdm Reza's Interview Results
    Her name is Mdm Reza. She is teaching for Toddler and Playgroup teacher. She is 33 years old. She had her primary, junior, senior education all in Sanggau! She said she sent her child to school so they can achieve their dreams and get knowledge. She said that when she considered thing to list her this school, it can make a child have (basically) all IB Learner Profiles. She also said that education an make someone educative, socialize, and get all good things. According to her, schools can make someone educative while the side effect is that other students will bully people and teach bad words (don't do it). If someone is very knowledgeable, he can easily solve local and global issues.

    Mr Yan's Intervew Results
     His name is Yanuarius. He is an art and culture teacher. He is 47 years old. He had his primary education at SD Nusa Indah, junior at SMP Negeri 2, while senior at YPK and he had college at SD KIP. He sent his child to school because they can socialize, and get information from various sources. He considered that the school he's going to send his child to are that the school uses international ways instead of conventional ways. For him, the negative part of school is that he needs to wait for his child while the positive part is that his child can have new knowledge, have friends of the same age and the school has good facility. If his child wanted to know what does the outside world look like, and if she know how, she could see it through the internet. He said that education can help to solve local and global issues if he or she had school, and they are used to think, they will think first before doing it then they will act.
